About The Barn

Neacoxie Creek is an event venue located just three blocks from the ocean in the classic beach town of Gearhart, Oregon just north of Seaside on the northern Oregon coast. Set on the banks of Neacoxie Creek, our beautiful 110 year old historic barn and acre of grounds was the original livery stable for the first "Gearhart Park" hotel built in 1890. It's an amazing area with lively history, incredible beauty, and engaging culture. Neacoxie Creek is the place to enjoy great activities, coastal ambiance, and peaceful beauty.

A Place for Your Event

Our main building is a rustic gable barn with an open interior that can accommodate up to 150 people all within a fenced acre of open lawns and perennial gardens. There is a covered gazebo, large open lawn, and garden arbor that can be used for entertaining or as gathering areas. The barn can be the backdrop for fancy and formal or relaxed and casual. It's up to you! It can be the ultimate in rustic elegance, or a venue for a foot stompin' affair. Waltz to a classy quartet or kick up your heels with a blue grass band! It's your place for the day not just a few hours.

The grounds are landscaped to compliment the barn and the seasonal gardens, barn wood, and forest border are an excellent backdrop for many photos. The lawn can be tented for an open air celebration or dining under the stars.
